The Purpose of Hope’s Music Training Center (HMTC) is to train willing individuals in the musical arts and equip them to become well-rounded musicians and ministers. The focus is to empower young people to develop creative expression, develop spiritual connection, and cultivate leadership skills.
HMTC’s vision is to develop Christian musicians who can play or sing with excellence, play or sing with the anointing, play or sing with humility and are committed to spiritual disciplines.
As students develop they will be giving opportunities to play and sing at various events and services. These classes are also available for other churches needing to develop their youths by learning to play gospel music primarily by ear and some theory.
For those who have a desire to use their musical abilities for God, HMTC provides the venue for them to be trained in a Christian environment and to fellowship with other musicians.
Hope’s Musical Training Center is a place, where we can help individuals develop their gifts and talents. Whether it is in gospel music, a solo artist, wanting to play in the church band, sing on the praise team, sing on the church choir, develop a Christian band, learn to play keyboards, drums, learning vocal techniques or learning the latest gospel music HMTC is here for you.
Through our group instructions, individuals will have the opportunity to develop playing skills, vocal techniques, commitment, teamwork and musicianship in a social and interactive atmosphere.
Our teachers are selected for their playing ability, education level, experience and character. The goal of all our teachers is to motivate their students and make playing an instrument or singing a positive and enjoyable experience. Base on such criteria’s students will develop improvisational skills while learning various musical styles such as jazz, blues, reggae, rock etc.
