Dear Church Family and Friends:

As we begin an intensive stewardship program in our church, I want you to know that I count it as a great honor and privilege to be the Pastor of our great church. When I think about God’s goodness to us in the past, I am filled with gratitude. When I think about what God wants to do for us and through us, I am filled with anticipation.

I am grateful that we are entering a program that will open new doors of opportunity for our church. With the success of this program, our church can help meet the needs of those who are hurting and without hope in the community. We can help individuals grow and develop spiritually while discovering their life purpose. Our new facility will provide financial workshops to assist individuals get out of debt, help to empower singles, single mothers, and strengthen marriages. We will be able to aid parents in the spiritual
nurturing of their children through skits, songs, crafts, puppets and basic bible stories.

Special focus will be placed on implementing sports, musical training, leadership programs and life skills geared towards getting youths off the street.

Our stewardship program has a great theme, “Not Equal Giving, but Equal Sacrifice.” This theme challenges us to do the extraordinary, to give “over and above our tithes” sacrificially for the next 156 weeks. The theme reminds us that we can all have a significant part in the Lord’s work.

This program provides all of us a wonderful opportunity. It is the opportunity to know in a fresh way the blessings that come through giving. Jesus said, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over” (Luke
6:38). I earnestly believe that we the people of Hope Christian Ministries are ready for the challenge that this program offers. Let us each enter into this great effort prayerfully and enthusiastically.
